Dr. Pineda has worked in the health field for over 19 years. She started out with over 1000 hours of training in therapeutic massage and has worked with several chiropractic and physical therapy clinics. Dr. Pineda continued her education and acquired her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree in 2000 from 'Life Chiropractic College West' in Hayward, California. While continuing to practice chiropractic full time, she also teaches a 100-hour deep tissue massage certification course, Anatomy and Physiology, as it relates to massage therapy and injuries as well as a 50-hour sports massage class at 'Just For Your Health Massage College' in Willow Glen, California.

Having taken up golf as a hobby, Dr. Pineda also received her certification as a 'Golf Injury Doctor' in 2006. She has found that golfers can achieve optimal performance levels by keeping their spine, extremities, muscles and body mechanics balanced. This is accomplished with various chiropractic techniques as well as proprioceptive and core exercises and golf specific stretches.

When Dr. Pineda is not in her office or teaching, she can usually be found playing golf, rollerblading, working out at the gym, or walking her Miniature Schnauzer, Daisy.
